Dynamic Ideas Review

Write for us

We welcome pitches that make one part of idea-making easier to see: a well-framed question, a useful comparison, a revealing example or a careful account of how a creative choice changes the work.

What makes a strong pitch

Send a concise proposal with a working title, the central point, the intended reader and a short note on how the piece will develop. Name the specific angle and explain what it adds beyond general encouragement to be creative. Pieces should be original, clearly structured and useful without promising that one method will work for everyone.

The shape of a contribution

We consider explanatory, comparative, historical and occasion-based pieces that fit our coverage of prompts, constraints, combinations, revision and sharing. Use examples to illuminate the point, and distinguish personal experience from claims that readers should treat as broadly established. Avoid unsupported assertions, promotional copy and advice that depends on professional or local rules.

How to send a proposal

Send pitches through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. A proposal is not a promise of publication. Please include enough detail for us to understand the argument and the scope; do not send confidential material or assume that an unsolicited draft will be used.
